Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks are a professional ice hockey team based in Anaheim, California, competing in the National Hockey League (NHL). They generate revenue through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, and broadcasting rights. Founded in 1993 by The Walt Disney Company as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the team was inspired by the Disney film "The Mighty Ducks." In 2005, the franchise was sold to Henry and Susan Samueli, who rebranded the team to its current name. The Ducks have achieved significant success, including winning the Stanley Cup in 2007.
