Better Together Animal Alliance

Better Together Animal Alliance is a nonprofit organization focused on animal welfare, primarily serving the North Idaho region through programs such as pet adoption, spay/neuter services, and community outreach. The organization generates revenue through donations, grants, fundraising events, and adoption fees, which support its mission to reduce animal homelessness and promote responsible pet ownership. Founded in 1985 as the Panhandle Animal Shelter, it rebranded to Better Together Animal Alliance in 2021 to reflect its collaborative approach with local partners and the broader community. Candidates should know the organization values compassion, innovation, and community engagement, and has a history of pioneering programs like Home To Home, which helps pets find new homes without entering the shelter system. This commitment to progressive animal welfare solutions and strong community ties makes Better Together Animal Alliance a respected leader in its field.
