Bungie

Bungie is a renowned video game developer best known for creating the Halo and Destiny franchises. Founded in 1991, the company initially gained fame with the Marathon and Myth series before achieving mainstream success with Halo, which became a flagship title for Microsoft's Xbox. Bungie makes money through game sales, expansions, and in-game purchases. In 2000, Bungie was acquired by Microsoft but became an independent company again in 2007. They later partnered with Activision for Destiny, a collaboration that ended in 2019, allowing Bungie to self-publish the Destiny series.
