Communities Resist

Communities Resist (CoRe) is an organization dedicated to combating gentrification, displacement, and social and structural injustice. Based in New York, CoRe focuses on tenant organizing and legal advocacy to support communities facing housing struggles. The organization employs professionals such as grant writing consultants and tenant organizing attorneys to further its mission. Founded by individuals with firsthand experience of housing issues, CoRe plays a crucial role in addressing and mitigating the adverse effects of urban development on vulnerable populations.
