Founded in 1861 by James Edward Hanger, the first amputee of the Civil War, the company has a long history of innovation in prosthetics. Hanger operates through two segments: Patient Care, which offers clinical services through a network of patient care centers, and Products & Services, which distributes O&P products. They generate revenue by providing custom O&P devices and related services, as well as selling O&P components and rehabilitation solutions.
