Northeast Power Coordinating Council

Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc. (NPCC) is a non-profit organization responsible for promoting and enhancing the reliability and security of the bulk power system in Northeastern North America. They achieve this through the development and enforcement of reliability standards, coordination of system planning, and conducting assessments and audits. Established in 1966, NPCC plays a critical role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the power grid across New York, New England, Ontario, Québec, and the Maritime Provinces. Their revenue primarily comes from membership fees and services provided to member organizations.
