Candidates need two years of relevant tradesman helper experience, graduation from a diesel technology program, or equivalent experience; must have or obtain a Pennsylvania CDL learner's permit or license with specific endorsements and a Medical Examiner’s Certificate; must obtain inspection mechanic certification during probation.
