Kristy Hunston: Thank you for joining the call today. We’re going to talk through a few things. We’re gonna start by introducing ourselves, and then we’ll talk a little bit about the vision behind Jennie Johnson, and we’re gonna do this pretty quickly because we want to have time to jump into the meat of the discussion. We also will walk you through how the product works from registering to the site to looking at jobs and getting a resume rewrite report in addition to some of the other features and then we’ll talk about some plans for you. There are some paid features within Jennie Johnson, so we want to make sure that that’s very clear and then also we’ll take some time at the end for questions as well as I mentioned earlier. If you have questions while we’re speaking, please feel free to jump in raise your hand or ask a question in the comment box.
Kristy Hunston: Okay, so I’m just going to make sure no one’s waiting to let in okay. We’re all here.
Kristy Hunston: So let’s jump right into it. My name is Kristy Hunston. And I am the President of Jennie Johnson. You might have seen my name or my face on our Communications oftentimes an email will come from me know that I write those myself. No one else is writing them. And I also do a lot of the communications on social my background is in operations and marketing and Jennie Johnson is really the first thing that I’ve been involved in that’s focused on job Seekers and career management and I really love this space because I think it’s so important to be able to help people find the right jobs for them. And I think Jennie Johnson is a great tool to do that. So now I’ll go ahead and…
Kevin Holbert: Sure, so I’m Kevin.
Kristy Hunston: hand it over to Kevin…
Kevin Holbert: I’ve been in the job space for probably 15 years specifically for running different building or…
Kristy Hunston: who will talk for a moment as well.
Kevin Holbert: recruiting company working on job boards building my own job boards and working with employers that are looking to hire so I bring a lot of experience with regards to specifically job search and Jenn the vision of Jenny really takes in all of my experience in the team’s experience to really flip the script so maybe…
Kevin Holbert: Dealing with employers and only representing them and getting paid by employers.
Kevin Holbert: I don’t know Kristy.
Kevin Holbert: We do not do that.
Kevin Holbert: We’re gonna go into the vision here and…
Kevin Holbert: Number one.
Kevin Holbert: I can just give a little bit about that.
Kevin Holbert: We scour the internet every single day constantly trying to find every open listing out there every job that’s on indeed LinkedIn ZipRecruiter every careers page and…
Kevin Holbert: So out of all my years is working with job Seekers and…
Kristy Hunston: Yep.
Kevin Holbert: working with employers. What I’ve always wanted to do is give job Seekers every Advantage they can in finding a job.
Kevin Holbert: we list them on the site that you can search to them.
Kevin Holbert: And so…
Kevin Holbert: And then we include those in your email alerts,…
Kevin Holbert: what Jenny does is it takes out of the mix?
Kevin Holbert: but we don’t have time to the company. So we are not suggesting jobs based on what they’re paying us. We are suggesting. I’m just based on your relevancy to that job with your profile. whenever I have talked to a candidate looking for a job. I say number one research the company and get some details about it and see if you’re a good fit with your resume. And that’s what Jennie Johnson does. It takes each job and analyze your resume to see how you are a good fit for it. And then we can then take your resume and rewrite it for you. Now that we have ai tools that have been come about in the last year and a half. We utilize those to quickly rewrite your resume to really Target that job.
Kevin Holbert: And then beyond that we give you not just the job board link to apply through but also the company careers page to apply through because what I really think you should do is apply directly to the company through any possible means and then I think the most important aspect of Jenny is the networking links that you’ll see whatever you click power play on any job and Chris. You’ll go through that in a minute. We really do a deep dive and find contacts that the company that you should reach out to let them know you’re interested in the role. And so you can apply to the job on a job board or through the careers page. We should also reach out to people at the company and if you’re really going to stand out doing them. And if you utilize these tools to tweak your resume for each job and reach out to the right people You’re Gonna Stand Out. I know that.
00:05:00
Kevin Holbert: The current job market is super tight and applying through Linkedin indeed using their Auto apply the applications really get lost. employers are getting flooded with applications and just using that methodology. I don’t think you’re gonna stand out as often. So I would recommend following this process. So I’ll let it leave it to Kristy to walk through it then.
Kristy Hunston: Thank you So there are several features of Jennie Johnson and I’ve categorized them here as features that will help you explore jobs and then others that will help you while you are preparing to apply for jobs. So on the exploration side, we have a job search feature, which is fairly new. If you’ve been using Jennie Johnson for months, you would realize that this launched a couple weeks ago. So we were really excited to see that launch because now you don’t have to wait for your job digest emails to look for jobs. You can go to our website and you can search for jobs anytime you would like speaking of the job digest email, that is another way that you will learn about email. So that’s something we share with all of our users as they are exploring for jobs. And then when you see within a job digest email that is of Interest we summarize
Kristy Hunston: Job description into a job detail summary. So anytime you click on a job either in the job search or in the email. What you will see is our detail ummar And like I said, we’re summarizing the full job description to make sure you can review that job quickly and decide if it’s something you want to apply for and then last in the exploration side when you are a little bit curious about whether or not your background background my align with the needs of the job we offer a resume analysis. And so the resume analysis takes your resume that we have on file and it takes the job description and then it tells you where there might be gaps some things that the employer might be looking for that aren’t there yet so you can decide if you qualify because you have that experience. is it in your resume or maybe you don’t have that experience?
Kristy Hunston: so you might forgo applying to that position and then on the application side.
Kristy Hunston: As you probably have seen we offer a resume rewrite tool so similar to the analysis what we do is we take a description and we take your resume and we amplify the things that are in that job description in your resume so that they stand out to that employer now in addition with the resume rewrite. You also get a cover letter that has been written to meet the needs of that job as So really important to make sure when you’re applying for a job that it matches as closely as possible to the job description and then we offer application links and networking links. I’m going to show you those in a minute and then interview questions that you might consider asking in an interview and then some that the employer might ask you so that you can prepare for an interview and then finally we offer some company research so you can just be well informed on that company before you have additional discussions.
Kristy Hunston: Okay, so I’m going to move into our walkthrough now and I’m going to share my other screen.
00:10:00
Kristy Hunston: Okay, Kevin, can you see this
Kristy Hunston: Okay, perfect. Thank So what we have here is the job digest email and this is the email that you receive once you have registered for Jennie Johnson. And so when you register and I’m actually going to go to the site now and I will show you where This is the Jennie Johnson homepage. When you go in and register you insert your email address your first name, and then you upload a resume or if you don’t happen to have a resume you can.
Kristy Hunston: Paste some information here. So we suggest maybe you put information from your LinkedIn profile or if you have to actually go in and type your experience. You can do this here and we use this information to go ahead and find jobs that meet your experience whether it’s your education experience if you’re a student or if you’ve been in the workforce for a little while will match that experience and then what we ask that you do is let us know how often you want to receive these emails. So you might get them daily every other day or weekly so that is up to you how often you receive them and you can change that at any time. So after you register, you will start getting these emails which I showed you a moment ago and this recalling our job digest. So here are the matches that align with one of my resumes and so you see at the top.
Kristy Hunston: We have new matches. These are newer jobs that maybe I haven’t seen before and then there are trending jobs that are relevant to my industry.
Kevin Holbert: So at any time of the jobs are our little off in your email you can go in and…
Kristy Hunston: And then if you happen to see a job elsewhere that we don’t have any Jennie Johnson and…
Kevin Holbert: adjust your profile. However, you’d put as much information as you can in there.
Kristy Hunston: you want to go through this process for that job.
Kevin Holbert: Our system will crunch it down and…
Kristy Hunston: You can do that by going through this process here.
Kevin Holbert: analyze it and give you a really summarized for some
Kristy Hunston: We’re calling it a custom resume rewrite. I’ll show you how to do that on the website as well. and then we’re promoting these webinars, right we want everyone to know that you can meet with us and learn firsthand how to use the site and also we’ve added some new Q&A sessions which are just to answer any questions that our users might have And then we have a couple other administrative things near the end of the email. And I have a tickle. So let me take some water. Yep, and so you can do that by clicking on this button here. This is update your job preferences. And then later I’ll show you where you can do that on the website. So now let’s say I want to further explore this vice president of marketing position. So as you can see our technology worked quickly to put together our job details So it provides some information about the company and a job summary and let’s say this job doesn’t quite meet my needs. I can see other jobs over here on the right hand side that could or maybe I want to explore these after I finished exploring this position itself. So we’re always trying to serve you some more jobs that you might be interested in just to help you through your job search.
Kristy Hunston: Okay, so this power apply button that you see at the top and you see at the bottom. This is the most important button for Getting ready to apply for a position. So I’m going to click power apply and I’m going to show you what it does. So first and foremost, we’re gonna explain what powerapply does because not everybody has the benefit of Kevin and I presenting it to them, right so a quick explanation and then I’m gonna start my resume analysis. So this resume analysis is what I was talking about earlier where it takes my resume and the job description and it lets me know what is missing from my resume.
Kristy Hunston: And so it’s going to list several things here. I can click show more and it’s going to expand that even further. So as a job Seeker, I’m going to review this closely and determine if I am qualified for this position if I have this experience, I might update my resume on my own or as you’ll see in a minute. You can see I can have Jennie Johnson update my resume for me.
Kristy Hunston: So the resume analysis is really helpful. And then at the top here, I have three different options as part of the power ply the resume analysis. Next was the application links and the application links shows me…
00:15:00
Kevin Holbert: And we do a really deep dive with this.
Kristy Hunston: where I can apply for this job and…
Kevin Holbert: We take the company information the job details we search hundreds of websites take all that information down crunch it and…
Kristy Hunston: we are looking for multiple places online that a job seeker can apply first and…
Kevin Holbert: analyze it and then put those links here. So it is I mean,…
Kristy Hunston: foremost. We’re looking for the career page within the company website and…
Kevin Holbert: We’ve worked on this but I would like to know it’s a lot of work to do this and…
Kristy Hunston: then of course, there are usually posting on LinkedIn and…
Kevin Holbert: this is something you could do on your own if you found a job and…
Kristy Hunston: indeed and other job boards.
Kevin Holbert: wanted to Google it you could easily do that.
Kristy Hunston: So we’re looking for all those application links so that you can decide the best place to apply for you.
Kevin Holbert: It would just take you a little bit more time. So it’s not something secret but it does take a little effort to find the best application links.
Kristy Hunston: And then yeah.
Kristy Hunston: Exactly and same with a networking links. So on the networking side is Kevin mentioned earlier, we think it’s so important to go above and…
Kevin Holbert: I think a point out wanted to make here was so even on these you can see there’s a bullet point that says approach and…
Kristy Hunston: beyond just applying for the job on that on the job board or…
Kevin Holbert: we give you a little message that you could hey.
Kristy Hunston: career website.
Kevin Holbert: Hi Carl.
Kristy Hunston: It’s important to try to make a connection with someone within the company to introduce yourself explain…
Kevin Holbert: I’m interested in this role just to help you along in your messaging so you can more easily copy that throw it into a LinkedIn message and…
Kristy Hunston: why you have applied to the job and…
Kevin Holbert: send it to them and one really I think important Point given the tight job marker right now is
Kristy Hunston: if there’s any advice that they might have for you as you are applying for that position.
Kevin Holbert: Reaching out to someone who’s not just the HR manager or…
Kristy Hunston: So you can see there’s five different people to consider networking within this company and…
Kevin Holbert: the recruiter reaching out to this head of operations or the people that have similar jobs your resume might get lost on the desk of the HR manager.
Kristy Hunston: I could go on LinkedIn and do this myself as well. But it takes time all of these things take so much time and…
Kevin Holbert: Whereas if you reach out to the person you think is the boss for this job.
Kristy Hunston: searching for a job takes time.
Kevin Holbert: They’re gonna…
Kristy Hunston: So we’re trying to pull some of that.
Kevin Holbert: then ask that hiring manager. Hey, do you have Shay’s resume.
Kristy Hunston: I guess we’re trying to give you some of that time back…
Kevin Holbert: I’d like to take a look.
Kristy Hunston: because we know…
Kevin Holbert: She reached out to me a LinkedIn or…
Kristy Hunston: how much time it really takes.
Kevin Holbert: whatever. It may be and also sometimes there’s jobs that show that they’ve been posted 10 days ago 30 days ago. They might not be watching the flow of resumes coming through their application links. So reaching out to them here is really going to make you stand out and you’re going to Be above and beyond the hundred applications. They got through Linkedin by just sending them a quick message like this.
Kristy Hunston: So usually this button right here says resume rewrite and that will give you the resume rewrite report. I did this already today just to make sure it was ready and loaded for this discussion because it could take three minutes to generate that report that we write. So again, I did it already so I’m gonna go ahead and look at my report. And everything on the left here are the things that are included in this resume rewrite report some things I’ve already seen and then others are brand new. So at the top is the section that’s telling me what’s missing from my resume. I’ve already seen that through the resume analysis.
Kristy Hunston: And then we get into why this company might interview me based on my experience and some reasons. It might pass on interviewing me again helping me decide if I am going to apply to the job or if there are really some big additions or changes. I need to make to my resume so that I am clearly qualified for the position.
Kristy Hunston: Then we have my new resume which has been written based on the job description. So, of course it’s using all of my experience that was in my resume and it’s highlighting areas that are important for the specific job. I can download this resume as a PDF as a Word document or a text document and we highly recommend that you download it and then you make some edits on your own there might be things that Jennie Johnson doesn’t know should be in your resume for this job. So it would be important for you to add them and you might want to add some more personality or character to the resume or adjust the formatting you can do all of those things once you download it. And then it’s gonna tell me what has changed that way. I don’t have to look at the two resume side by side and really try to figure out what’s different. It’s telling me here.
00:20:00
Kristy Hunston: And then it’s giving me a new cover letter for this position. I can also download this. I think I just clicked on it and it’s going to download. There we go. It’s a text file.
Kevin Holbert: I think those interview questions are very interesting we really dive deep into the company their Direction new projects.
Kristy Hunston: So then I can put that into an email or I can put that into a word doc, whatever I want and I can edit it as well. Same with this personalized email message to an employer.
Kevin Holbert: They’re working on and specifically for that role and…
Kevin Holbert: match it up to your resume. And we find where do we think they would have some issues with your experience?
Kristy Hunston: It’s going to remind me of the job details and…
Kristy Hunston: Company overview for this position. And then there’s the interview questions that the company might ask me and…
Kevin Holbert: So you’re prepared to address any concerns. They might have when you have a conversation with them.
Kristy Hunston: questions. I would want to ask in an interview.
Kevin Holbert: So a quick read over these interview questions will really prepare you and show that you’ve done your homework on the company.
Kristy Hunston: Yeah, And then finally we have where to apply and the application link section. So really everything that you can get within the powerapply process and resume rewrite it is within this one document. So I have everything I need here to further explore this job to prepare the documents and Communications. I want to send for this job to actually apply for this job. It’s all here. I want to stress that we do not submit your resume for you and that might have already been clear by looking at the different pages, but we don’t submit it for you. So you absolutely have to go in and submit your application. With one of those links that we’ve already shared.
Kristy Hunston: Okay, then at the very bottom of this are similar job. So again, should you still be interested in looking at other things. You should look at these similar jobs here and decide if there’s anything else you want to apply to and you can go through the same process again if you’d like. So now I’m going to go back to the Jennie Johnson website. I’m going to go to the homepage and I’m just going to show you our search feature. So I am typing in a job title and I can leave the location blank if I would like and I’m going to go ahead and hit search and this is going to take me to a search result page. And as you can see on the left, I can see the open positions that are accepting applications that I should consider and then for each one as I click through them.
Kristy Hunston: The job detail summary updates and then I have the option to go through the powerapply process if I would like and it goes through the same thing. I can click on this box and say, I don’t need to see this anymore. I know how this works and I’m going to start my resume analysis and go through that same process. really important there.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah certain.
Kristy Hunston: I Choose how I want to sort this list. I can do it by date if I want I can do it by location. So I have a couple of options here. There’s a remote jobs only as you can see there so I can click on that and I imagine that our Search tool is going to get even more advanced because it’s something that we launched recently. before I jump off of the site, I want to show you a couple more things. The first is within my account section. And so if you’re registered for Jennie Johnson, and you’re logged in you have an account with us and you can see your reports. I obviously am running a lot of reports and so you can click on this at any time and see all of those reports that you’ve run.
Kristy Hunston: I can go to my profile and in my profile is where I am updating my Persona, which is what we use to share jobs with you and so here is my resume I can edit this if I want and then I can also edit my career profile directly so that I get served maybe different jobs. Also with an account I can adjust how often they get the emails and then if I have a subscription, which we’re going to talk about soon. It tells me the details for that. I can change it so I can move down a level if I don’t want to pay so much. I’m not using it as much and I can also cancel by going to this subscription tab here.
00:25:00
Kevin Holbert: Or even if you wanted to get your resume Rewritten based on your absolute ideal job you ever want to land you put that in here have it rewrite your resume for that and…
Kristy Hunston: And then finally, let me show you how to create a report for a job that you find outside of Jennie Johnson. So you insert the job title company and then copy and…
Kevin Holbert: then you have one resume.
Kristy Hunston: paste the job description and…
Kevin Holbert: That’s really your ideal.
Kristy Hunston: you will get same the resume rewrite report that I showed you earlier for that job. So it’s a great tool if you happen to see something outside of Jennie Johnson that you want to explore.
Kristy Hunston: That’s right. Okay.
Kristy Hunston: back to our slides So we do offer a number of free features and then of course, there’s some things that are paid as well. So the items that are free are the job search that email that you get and job details summary which summarizes the job description all of those items are free. And then we have two different subscription plans that we offer and the first one is our standard subscription at 19 dollars a month. And so obviously those items that are free are still free and then each day you can access the resume analysis application links and networking links five times.
Kristy Hunston: You can click on that powerply and get those things five times with this standard subscription. And then you get three resume rewrites per month which include the cover letter the Rewritten resume interview questions and Company research. That’s all there you can access that three times a month. We always offer a three day trial retrial so we don’t charge your card until you either run a second resume. We write or that three days has passed so that gives you the chance to sign up for a subscription and try it before you get charged and you can easily cancel by going to your account just like I had showed you a moment ago.
Kristy Hunston: And then if you maybe are applying to more jobs or you think you need to apply to more jobs, we offer the premium subscription, which is right now $49 a month. And so with that subscription all of those things in the middle here are unlimited. So the resume analysis application networking links, you can use those as much as you want per day and then you get a month of the resume rewrite. So if you’re applying to 20 jobs a month or maybe 18 jobs a month,
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, I want to address that a little bit…
Kristy Hunston: you’re going to want this plan…
Kevin Holbert: because talking about pricing and I know people are in a job search and…
Kristy Hunston: because you can get a custom resume for each job that you want to apply to again three day free trial still exists and…
Kevin Holbert: and cost is a real thing. So I don’t want to gloss over that and the reason here is I’ve been on the other side of it. I’ve worked for the employers as a recruiter and…
Kristy Hunston: we encourage you to sign up and if you…
Kevin Holbert: for job boards.
Kristy Hunston: if you aren’t happy with the results,…
Kevin Holbert: And what I found out it does not.
Kristy Hunston: please cancel. If you can’t cancel on your account page,…
Kevin Holbert: Put the candidates best interest first and…
Kristy Hunston: you can always email Kevin or…
Kevin Holbert: that’s what I really want to do. I was really sick of promoting jobs just…
Kristy Hunston: At Jennie johnson.com and we can cancel it on your behalf.
Kevin Holbert: because they were sponsored to a certain level pushing unrelated jobs to candidates…
Kristy Hunston: But we want you to know that’s very easy. do
Kevin Holbert: where the extreme would be your marketing manager,…
Kristy Hunston: And then also if you’re not interested in a subscription,…
Kevin Holbert: but you’re getting pushed Uber and…
Kristy Hunston: you can buy One resume rewrite report…
Kevin Holbert: Amazon jobs or truck driving jobs, and that’s not helping anyone out.
Kristy Hunston: which includes all of those things and…
Kevin Holbert: They’re just trying to make some money in that job board or…
Kristy Hunston: that’s $15. I think Kevin mentioned this a little bit earlier,…00:30:00
Kevin Holbert: for the recruiter. They’re just trying to make a feed.
Kristy Hunston: but the technology to do all of this work costs us money each time that we do it.
Kevin Holbert: So they just want their trying to push a Canon into a role to make their feet and these tools it took a lot of work to build it.
Kristy Hunston: And so that’s why we have to have this as a paid service right now to job Seekers.
Kevin Holbert: And unfortunately, it does come to a cost but I think that if we think of it as
Kristy Hunston: So, we’re doing our best to make sure we can deliver the best product for you. But that means it has to come with a little bit of a price.
Kristy Hunston: Yeah.
Kevin Holbert: You being first and we want to build upon your success. Then this will benefit everyone for a small cost per month. And if you’re not we want to let you know how to utilize these tools yourself. That’s why we have these meetings like you can Google that role and find the application links yourself. You can go to LinkedIn and find all the company contacts. You can rewrite your resume for each role and if things are tight, I would encourage you to still do those and not have the subscription. We’re putting this out there to really supercharge your jobs are so you can do it quicker and rather than apply to 30 jobs a day on LinkedIn and never get a call back. Running three reports a day.
Kevin Holbert: And getting a new resume update and applying to three jobs a day. I think you’re going to be way more successful and you’re gonna find success a lot quicker than what people are doing. do the job boards.
Kevin Holbert: Bryan had a question earlier and I addressed it. He asked if you could use both your resume and your LinkedIn profile to build up that for better jobs and…
Kristy Hunston: Okay.
Kevin Holbert: I said You can upload your resume. And then when you go to your settings,…
Kristy Hunston: So now we have some time for questions,…
Kevin Holbert: you’ll see your profile.
Kristy Hunston: Kevin and…
Kevin Holbert: And that’s our summary. We built you could adjust that and…
Kristy Hunston: I also wanted to share our email addresses.
Kevin Holbert: add in your LinkedIn profile there submit it and…
Kristy Hunston: So we always welcome feedback or…
Kevin Holbert: then we’ll take all that data into consideration when we do your job search for you for your email Digest.
Kristy Hunston: questions from our users. So, please feel free to write those down. If you’d like. You can also follow us on LinkedIn and Facebook and Twitter all the things. So, can you in many ways of reaching Us in addition to these calls.
Kevin Holbert: I was trying to think of other points, I am.
Kristy Hunston: So any questions that we can answer
Kristy Hunston: Okay.
Kristy Hunston: Great, that’s helpful.
Kevin Holbert: Just recently I hear back from companies just to let you in on things. sometimes they’re not very happy that we are listening all of the jobs. They want them to be sort of hidden or pee only certain people to represent them. What we’re really trying to do is give you every single job out there with every company.
Kristy Hunston: Yeah.
Kevin Holbert: We have the absolute right to repost their jobs that they put them on the Internet. So that’s why you’ll see there’s eight million jobs index on our site at any time. So we’re trying to find every single role out there regardless of that company wants us to have it on our site. So we’re really trying to put all that information in your hands.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Yeah, I know on the side it mentioned improve your chances 10x. But have you done some real analysis of people who use the tool without the tool to understand using this tools? Actually the chance.
00:35:00
Kristy Hunston: Mm- Yep. Yeah often we’re asked if we offer one-on-one recruiting help and…
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, we could not help very many people…
Kristy Hunston: we don’t at Jennie Johnson.
Kevin Holbert: if we were just individual career coaches and…
Kristy Hunston: We just are too small to be able to do that.
Kevin Holbert: it’s too pricey that to take someone’s time for eight hours to help rewrite a resume and…
Kristy Hunston: But that’s why we’ve built the tool and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: I had one other question I struggle with writing and…
Kevin Holbert: do that analysis. It’s expensive for their time.
Kristy Hunston: the technology that we have so we can help more people it,…
Kevin Holbert: So we tried to build something that’s very scalable that everybody can use and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: it has been six months in my job. So I am not updated my resume with all the things that I have done in those six years.
Kristy Hunston: it is an AI tool and…
Kevin Holbert: within a couple minutes. You can have a resume rewrite to utilize
Kristy Hunston: AI backed technology and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: I struggle to self-advocate like I did these many things so that has been my barrier to apply for a job.
Kristy Hunston: so oftentimes it feels like you are getting personalized attention through the site and through all of these features and…
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, we’ve…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: I know things have been fished like resume,…
Kristy Hunston: and that’s exactly what we wanted. But also know that …
Kevin Holbert: we have a question that’s open that up and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: right it assume that I already written things about these six years in the resume and…
Kristy Hunston: we have a big team Tech Team marketing team operations Team all behind the product and…
Kevin Holbert: see what he had there.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: then it is being written. But what about helping we are other users in the same boat come up with that first basic resume.
Kristy Hunston: we are always checking emails and responding to users and so we wanted to feel as personal as it can without doing the kind of concierge.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, so the tools been out there. We launched it really in November and we talked to a lot of candidates and…
Kevin Holbert: and really analyze how many jobs they were applying to before and how many interviews are they were Landing so we have done a lot of analysis with that and talk to real users to see what their experience has been and when we found that when they reached out directly to these contacts at the company along with applying On the company curse page and then on top of that adding in a tweaked resume for that.
Kristy Hunston: recruiting help
Kristy Hunston: That’s Okay, just believe one more minute for questions.
Kevin Holbert: It really does it 10x is there their chances of Landing an interview and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Yes.
Kristy Hunston: We’ll see if anything comes through.
Kevin Holbert: you could go to our trust pilot page. We’ve had a lot of great reviews from users and I’m humbled every day when I’m in the inbox talking to people about how much it helped them.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Okay, awesome, and it works across all types of rules right? Not just engineering but maybe marketing and it’s up.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Okay, and I assume it is using.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Okay, everyone last question on technical side is it using llm behind the scenes some open AI apis?
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, so we need something to go off of so just adding. I mean if you just put on a document the jobs, you’ve worked the things you’ve done we will then rewrite it for you. But we just need something to go off to base our resume rewrite of and our system use is some job to then rewrite your resume. So I’m not sure if that answers your question, but being able to talk about your own experience.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Yeah. Yeah. I have tried to charge up video and…
Kevin Holbert: It’s very difficult.
Vaibhav Chidrewar: it doesn’t help.
Kevin Holbert: I mean, we all struggle with it. We’ve all talked to people that say, yeah, I’m gonna look for a job and I just have to put in that time to write my resume and they never do it because it’s hard and so Just really throwing up a bunch of information on a document of what you’ve done what the companies have been your dates there and then run it through our system. I think it’s going to get you 90% of the way there for a resume. You’re gonna be happy with
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Yeah, thank you so much. Yeah.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah Yeah, we look into every category of jobs across the country. And hopefully internationally soon, but we’re just working on the US right now.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, yeah, it is we’re using llm’s mostly open Ai and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: people
Kevin Holbert: and we have art developers a very good at and I’m not really good at technical terms but doing multi-threaded prompts. So we’re taking the company the resume prompting with one thing taking the results prompting it again and really honing it down. It’s because easily you could go into chat GPT and…
Vaibhav Chidrewar: Okay.
Kevin Holbert: throwing here for job description. Here’s my resume rewrite. ours is way more in depth than that of the multi-threaded prompts to come up with a result.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, AI has gotten a bad reputation, it’s not Skynet. it’s not a computer that’s taking over the world. It’s a tool just like Excel makes it easier to monitor your finances. And so you have to utilize it the right way and it’s useful and it’s fast, but it doesn’t do everything for you. So we have to put a lot of work into building it the right way.
Kevin Holbert: Yeah, thank you.
