Clinton Health Access Initiative

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries. They achieve this by improving access to essential medicines, diagnostics, and health services, often partnering with governments and other organizations to strengthen health systems. Founded in 2002 by former President Bill Clinton, CHAI initially focused on addressing the HIV/AIDS crisis but has since expanded its scope to include malaria, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health. The organization generates revenue through grants, donations, and partnerships, leveraging these funds to implement impactful health programs worldwide.
